So it's the holiday that some people love and some people love to hate, whether it's always the couples that love it and the singletons that hate it I'm not sure. My guess is the singletons often hate it because it gives all of those loved up couples an excuse to participate in extreme amounts of PDA's (public displays of affection). Another guess is that no guy particularly enjoys it as they are expected to come up with some huge romantic gesture and know that if they don't then they will be in the dog house for weeks. The only enjoyment they get from valentines day is the hope that their other half has taken a trip to Ann Summers.
I've been lucky enough to have had a valentine for the last three years and this year isn't an exception. However although I'm very loved up at the moment I don't think it should be overdone too much. I mean of course I love to be wined and dined and love receiving a card which declares how much someone loves me. But what is different about today than yesterday, shouldn't every day be a celebration of a couples togetherness?
Food for thought ay, but for now i'm hypocritically off to celebrate my togetherness on the day that is chosen for it Valentines day.

Nerve Live TV Launch
The 26th November saw the launch of Bournemouth University's very own student television station Nerve TV. A bunch of presenters, producers, script writers and animators got together and did one of the riskiest things known on television, they attempted a live TV show.
No live television especially a first attempt is expected to run smoothly and the night obviously had a few technical glitches. However the whole team had a great laugh and the show was watched and enjoyed by over 70 viewers (quite a lot for student television channel that was just launching.)
Well for all of you busy bee's who missed out on viewing the live show don't worry. Nerve TV's launch night is now available for all to watch online.

If you think this is it for Nerve TV you are wrong, the television station features some great comedy sketches and watch out for Nerves very own news show coming soon.
